Sight

Today marked the end of me wearing glasses (hopefully). I had my second cataract surgery today at Center for Sight in Sarasota. It is an amazing operation and only took a little over three minutes to do the actual surgery. A lot longer sitting in waiting rooms and getting different exams. Eye drops for the next few days/weeks are the only thing to be done now. It is so nice to be able to read without reaching for glasses. A lot of people comment on the colors appearing so much more vivid. I notice that white looks a lot more white. People describe how it was done "in the old days" and I am happy that I live in the here and now. No patches, no stitches, no restrictions, no pain. Dr Shoemaker has performed this surgery over 100,000 times.
